Mario Castro and his group (KyuMin Shin, Dave Neves, Tamir Shmerling and Jon Pinson) came in to record some of their most popular originals. Later, Pinson and Mario joined me in the studio for an exclusive interview. During their time talking to me they discussed their musical influences (and the rest of the bands’), how they got their start and a near death experience early on in their career in Puerto Rico!
